Yes, that is very important question about nodding...ohh,
have to be careful about that. you are right about deaf
culture meaning I understand but as for hearing culture,
they thought yes. Wow
Will attend the court with kids
next month and will warn them not to nod in order to protect

So many people misunderstand that one. Many times it has to
be explained by the interpreter whether it is a passive nod,
an "understanding" nod, or " an agreement" very good post!

yeah I don't surprise because my friend borrow friend's bike
then he rode around, cop stopped him and ask him did you
take the bike. he nobble said yes/no really he mean don't
understand, because the word said take thought mean not
stolen but he puzzle why cop asked that why mix yes/no but
quick take him to jail then he got confuses and lose trust
and cops keep nose on him end up he went to prison. it sad!

yeah sure u are right i been though court,lawyer, i really
very careful with my face attidute in court but nothing
happen to me u still right....
