Oh man, I have exact same feeling.
One question,
sometimes I felt threaten, often my parents forced me to
visit my family, such as grandparents, aunt, uncle, etc.
What should I do? Actually I said no to them, but its like I
have no choice. I'm 15 years old, can't go out myself,
parents not even teach me how to go on bus not yet, (I cant
drive because I'm Deafblind). You know what? Your family is
alike to my family, your sister learned ASL. But for me, my
grandparents learned, then gave up. Now I take action, I
tell to my mother that I must to learn how to travel around
city. I do all job, teach myself, tell my parents to teach
me, tell them to tell what streets, signs, restaurants,
landmarks, much more. I'm tired of it, I mean aren't my
parents supposed to know what they should be teaching me? My
sister, 17 right now. When she was 15 years old, she already
know how to ride on bus, why? Well you guessed. I will make
vlog sometime.
